Join us for a day of band weaving on pre-warped looms to give you a taste of a large variety of patterns, all easy enough for beginners. Begin with a variety of plain weave band patterns, then try some pick up patterns, starting with 5 and 7 pattern warps and then moving up to 9, 13 and even 15 pattern warp threads. These patterns are Swedish and are copies of bands that I wove while in Sweden.

There will be no warping this day, but I will demonstrate how to warp the two treadle band loom.

A warped loom and yarns will be provided for use in this class.
