Harrisville Designs offers two boat shuttles (both 4" in length): the regular 12" boat shuttle, and the 8" “Shuttlette”.  Both accept Harrisville's 4" hardwood bobbins. Although they are designed especially for use with Harrisville Designs bobbin winders, they will fit most other shuttles and bobbin winders quite neatly.

The shuttles are made of hardwood (solid birch) and are finely sanded and come unfinished.  A spring operated shaft holds a bobbin securely yet releases easily for quick, convenient reloading.

The regular shuttle is recommended for general weaving and the “Shuttlette” is recommended for narrow warps.
