Boucle yarns have a very unique construction and we will start with making this yarn from basics. We will look at ways to push it using different fiber preps and scaling the size of our singles, corespinning creating jumbo boucle yarns. These principles can be applied to taking any yarn structure in different directions to make unique yarns.

Students should be familiar with their wheel, can spin a continuous thread and make a plied yarn
