Weaving two pieces of cloth simultaneously, or as a tube, or even making a double width project is possible on a 4 shaft loom.

Each student will be sent instructions for setting up their loom in advance of the workshop. Then, they will weave a sample with many combinations to use as a hanging shuttle caddy. Theory of double weave will be discussed as well as designing with double weave. We will include designs that are possible with double weave pick-up.

Beginning level weaving experience : student should be able to read a draft and weave without assistance.
